Welcome to FCI Mission Africa Foundation.

We exist to answer a clear spiritual call: confront the silent crisis facing adolescents across Africa, especially those living with poverty, trauma, and exclusion, by mobilizing faith institutions as sanctuaries of healing and engines of social transformation. Through a Pan-African Interfaith Movement uniting Protestant, Evangelical, Pentecostal, African Instituted Churches, Muslim, and other faith communities under "Bold Futures Africa", we advance the dignity, potential, and destiny of young people. Our flagship SHE Programme (Social, Health, Economic Empowerment) anchors Adolescent Wellness Centres within local congregations, offering spiritual guidance, psychosocial care, life skills, education support, and pathways to economic empowerment.

Alongside direct services, we strengthen faith leadership, institutional capacity, and community resilience so churches and faith-based organizations can sustain holistic care for adolescents. Guided by Isaiah 58:12—“You will be called Repairer of Broken Walls, Restorer of Streets with Dwellings”, we are building a continent-wide movement of hope and transformation for survivors of conflict, young mothers, school dropouts, and emerging leaders alike.

Our Mission

FCI Mission Africa Foundation exists to change the positions and conditions of the adolescents, their households and communities, including the agencies and institutions that exist to serve them, through the action of the local church and the faith community.

1. Institutional Capacity Strengthening

We enhance the governance, operational, and technical capabilities of local churches and grassroots faith-based organizations to deliver sustainable, mission-aligned services.

2. Empower Faith-Based Leadership

We identify, train, and support faith leaders to embody servant leadership and drive holistic transformation in their communities.

3. We promote Holistic Community Development

We support initiatives that address both spiritual and material needs, fostering communities that are spiritually vibrant, socially just, and economically resilient.

4. Advance Gender Equity and Inclusion

We champion the inclusion and empowerment of women, children, and youth within faith-based institutions and community development efforts.

5. Foster Local Resource Mobilization

We build the capacity of faith-based organizations to mobilize local assets and reduce dependency on external aid. This in turn helps them to deliver context-responsive support in areas affected by conflict, poverty, climate shocks, and weak governance to build community resilience.
